Practices will teach the players the rules and skills of softball through fun games and drills, and games will introduce more rules and have umpires, outs, and stealing bases. The Recreational program is for players with and without experience and is a place for athletes who enjoy both the competitive and social aspects of fastball. Focused on further developing fundamental skills through positive instruction and encouragement, the program is suited for players who want to learn and have fun, but do not necessarily want the high pressure that goes along with rep level competition. Teams are open to everyone and are balanced based on years of experience. Players can expect weekly practices and games.
Equipment Required: Players require a glove, helmet, infielder mask, black softball pants, and cleats. Catchers require a Jill protective cup. A jersey is provided.
